About the Role:

We're seeking a skilled Lead Design Manager to drive delivery across various initiatives within our Teamwork Platform Design team. As a key member of our design leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the vision and strategy for data experiences.

In this position, you'll oversee a team of designers, providing guidance and support to ensure they deliver exceptional user experiences that meet our high standards. Your expertise will help us create innovative solutions that bridge the Atlassian product family, connecting teams and unlocking their potential.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of professional experience as a UX or product designer, with a strong track record of leading and managing high-performing teams. You'll bring a deep understanding of design disciplines, including interaction design, prototyping, content design, and visual design.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality design projects, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to develop shared visions and champion user-centric experiences.
  • Grow and nurture a talented team of designers, empowering them to excel in their roles and contribute to our company's mission.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive design excellence, fostering a culture of innovation and creativity within the design team.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively, managing competing demands and deadlines while maintaining open communication channels with stakeholders.

$175,000 - $200,000 per annum (base salary range), depending on location and experience.
