Cardiac Sonographer Role

About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team in North Melbourne. As a key member of our healthcare professionals group, you will be conducting echocardiograms and contributing to timely diagnostics in a friendly and professional setting.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dedicated team providing compassionate care and clinical excellence. You will collaborate with accredited cardiologists, cardiac sonographers, technicians, and support staff using GE and Tempo reporting systems.

Responsibilities
  • Performing resting trans-thoracic echocardiography (TTE/echo) studies (~40 minutes per study)
  • Conducting exercise stress echocardiograms
  • Ensuring a minimum of 10 scans per shift
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A postgraduate diploma in cardiology or a related field
  • Accreditation as a cardiac sonographer
  • Experience performing scans independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
