About the Role:

The Brand Manager Apparel will be responsible for developing and maintaining a diverse range of products that uphold the integrity of the brand. This role requires a strong understanding of the market and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee product development from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with brand integrity and market trends.
  • Manage contract requirements for all brands in the portfolio, including products and royalties, to ensure compliance and maximize revenue.
  • Champion the brand and product portfolio, ensuring all contract obligations are met and brand reputation is maintained.
  • Prepare sales analyses, brand forecasts, and conduct distribution analyses and annual marketing plans to inform business decisions.
  • Undertake market research and manage product launch plans and lifecycles to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Maintain stock control and manage ordering processes to ensure efficient supply chain management.
  • Build and maintain a product specification catalogue and prepare reports for brand owners to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Assist in preparing retail planograms and managing AP21 functions, including product setup and pricing, to optimize sales and revenue.
  • Ensure web maintenance for product images and descriptions, including PO attachments and retailer specifications, to provide a seamless customer experience.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including licensors, agencies, suppliers, and internal departments, to ensure collaboration and communication.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop relationships with key retailers, ensuring clear communication and KPI building.
  • Stay informed on product, industry, and promotional opportunities, providing feedback to stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Contribute to promotional activities and represent the company at events to build brand awareness and reputation.
  • Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks and mentor team members for continuous development to ensure a high-performing team.
About You:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Brand Manager Apparel who possesses a strong understanding of the market and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Marketing or Business and 3-5 years of experience in marketing or brand management, particularly in hard goods, apparel, homewares, or gifting categories.

The successful candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and a passion for brand and product development. They will also have excellent attention to detail and time management skills, be creative and resourceful, and thrive on accountability and demonstrate initiative.
