A Support Worker is required to provide care and support to individuals with specific needs.
About the RoleThis position involves delivering high-quality, person-centered care and support to clients. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, building meaningful relationships, and contributing to clients' overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Support Social and Recreational Activities: Engage clients in social, educational, and recreational activities that promote independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion.
- Encourage Life Skills Development: Support clients in developing essential life skills, including budgeting, meal planning, and community engagement.
- Emotional and Behavioural Support: Provide emotional support to clients, helping them manage difficult behaviours and emotional responses with patience, understanding, and positivity.
- Health and Safety: Ensure a safe and healthy environment for clients, supporting their physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
We seek a young male support worker between the ages of 18-30 who possesses excellent communication skills, empathy, and patience. Previous experience in care or support work is preferred but not essential.
