Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Male Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality support to individuals with disabilities in their homes and the community.

Your primary responsibility will be to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, and to assist them in achieving their goals and independence through skill development and empowerment.

You will work closely with other staff members and management to ensure that participants receive the best possible care and support.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in people's lives and has experience working with dementia and other complex disabilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Disability/Aged Care, or equivalent qualification
  • Current First Aid Level 2 Certificate
  • Experience working with clients with dementia (preferred)
  • National Police Check
  • Own vehicle with comprehensive insurance (preferred but not essential)
  • Manual handling experience (preferred)
  • Administration of medication experience (preferred)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
  • Current Australian Driver's License
  • Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
