As a key member of our Energy Development, Strategic Monitoring and Compliance Unit, you will play a critical role in driving a strong culture of compliance with the Energy Legislation in the Northern Territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic and innovative approaches to facilitating industry compliance with the Energy Legislation.
- Deliver targeted compliance and monitoring programs to ensure effective enforcement of the Energy Legislation.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the regulatory framework, including monitoring and compliance policies, programs, procedures, and reporting mechanisms.
- Engage with industry and regulatory officers to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications and experience in a compliance or regulatory role.
- Strong understanding of the Energy Legislation and its application in the Northern Territory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
