About Us:
Rackley Swimming, a leading swim school operator and part of City Venue Management, seeks an experienced Assistant Head Coach to support the growth of its world-class school-based squad program. This full-time position will be based at Anglican Church Grammar School (Churchie) in East Brisbane, Queensland.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Coach to develop and implement comprehensive training programs for swimmers of all levels. Key responsibilities include:
- Program Implementation: Assist the Head Coach in planning, implementing, and evaluating training programs that cater to swimmers' physiological and psychological needs.
- Swimmer Development: Foster a positive and supportive training environment, encouraging swimmers' progress and facilitating a smooth transition between Learn-to-Swim and Squad programs.
- School Program Success: Support the Churchie GPS swimming program by increasing participation and performance.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Collaborate with the Head Coach and other coaching staff to ensure consistency and high-quality coaching across all programs.
- Community Engagement: Promote club participation and encourage swimmer engagement in club activities and local, state, and national competitions.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have ASCTA Development Coach accreditation, a current Blue Card (Working with Children Check), and current First Aid and CPR certifications. A Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification is desirable.
