**Social Worker Role Summary**

The role of Social Worker is a dynamic and rewarding career path that involves working with individuals who present multiple barriers to employment.

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our team, providing meaningful support to job seekers in achieving their employment and education goals.

This position focuses on supporting participants with complex needs, conducting assessments and delivering individual and group-based interventions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of participants' non-vocational and vocational barriers to employment
  • Providing supportive counselling and evidence-based mental health intervention as required
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to facilitate education or sustainable employment outcomes for participants
  • Developing and delivering mental health and life skills workshops for participants
  • Liaising with external support agencies and professionals to complete assessments or make appropriate referrals

**Essential Requirements**

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work with eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
  • Experience working with at-risk and vulnerable client groups
  • Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and approaches
  • Able to provide a Working with Children's Check and national Police Clearance
  • Valid WA Drivers Licence
  • Proficient IT and Administration skills

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in Employment Services, Case Management, and Advocacy.
