As a Technical Lead, you will work with a talented team building mobile banking apps (iOS, Android) for Westpac's regional brands.

Detailed Technical Design

This role plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining technical solutions, ensuring designs are fit for purpose.

The Technical Lead function is responsible for designing detailed technical solutions within the digital space focused on mobile technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobile products
  • Provide expert technical guidance to scrum teams, covering all aspects of the system/platform
  • Offer coaching/mentoring to engineers
  • Contribute to growing mobile talent through our graduate and intern academy
  • Participate in mobile guilds for knowledge sharing and learning

Requirements
  • Experience with at least two of the following: SWIFT, Kotlin, Java, or Objective-C
  • Desirable experience with Redux in Swift and Kotlin
  • End-to-end experience beyond front-end mobile to back end
  • CI/CD tool expertise (e.g., Bamboo), testing automation experience, and Agile methodology skills
  • Advanced analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills
