As a seasoned banking professional, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and retention of existing small business customers, while also acquiring new ones through strategic relationships.

  • Manage lending requests for small businesses, agribusinesses, and homeowners, up to specified financial limits.
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with colleagues, external networks, and brokers to foster business development opportunities.
  • Provide expert advice on business options, assessing economic value and risk potential for new business ventures.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Unwavering enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Proven experience in business and/or retail/lending banking and finance.
  • A deep understanding of the SME market and local area knowledge.
  • Excellent customer and relationship management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, time management, critical thinking, and negotiation skills.
