Maternal and Child Health Specialist

We are seeking an experienced healthcare professional to improve outcomes for children and families in the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a range of maternal and child health service activities across universal and enhanced programs to culturally diverse and vulnerable families with children 0-school age.
  • Provide flexible service delivery to outreach families who are unable to access the universal maternal and child health centres.
  • Deliver direct services as per departmental framework to families across the city.
  • Have knowledge and understanding about refugee health and community needs.
Requirements:
  • A current Victorian registration as Division 1 nurse and midwifery endorsement.
  • Maternal and child health qualifications.
  • Specialist knowledge and experience working with families with children 0-school age in the Victorian maternal and child health program.

The successful candidate will work closely with the community to provide high-quality care and support.
