Job Role:

We are seeking a skilled professional to play a key role in the planning and delivery of our events program. This is an exciting opportunity to support our team in promoting our work, engaging with stakeholders, and delivering high-quality events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with event planning, coordination, and delivery across various formats, from conferences and awards to community open days.
  • Contribute to developing effective communications and marketing strategies for events.
  • Provide event management support, including logistical coordination and ensuring activities meet defined objectives and quality standards.
  • Manage stakeholder lists, create email marketing campaigns, write event copy, and schedule social media content.
  • Support budget management and coordinate with external suppliers.
  • Develop event collateral, such as brochures and stand designs.
  • Collaborate with event organisers to ensure sponsorship obligations are met.
  • Prepare briefings and correspondence to support the event program.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in assisting with event delivery and project management.
  • Ability to create high-quality marketing and communications material.
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and coordinate concurrent projects.
  • An understanding of marketing outcomes as they relate to organisational goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software.
