Auto Body Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team. As a key member of our repair team, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition while ensuring customer satisfaction through quality repairs.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in automotive repair, with strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to diagnose and fix vehicle issues accurately.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with disassembly and production, mentoring other technicians.
  • Understand vehicle systems and technology, following OEM repair procedures and pre- and post-scanning vehicles as needed.
  • Show a team-oriented attitude, working efficiently in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrate a positive work ethic, taking pride in delivering high-quality repaired vehicles.
  • Work under pressure, managing deadlines and performing equipment audits to check performance and detect faults.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete repair tasks efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure quality repairs and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in automotive repair as an Autobody Technician.
  • Journeyperson or Red Seal certification preferred.
  • Will consider third or fourth-year Apprentices.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for repair work.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge to diagnose and fix vehicle issues accurately.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with the role.
