We are seeking a skilled professional to assume the role of Assistant Restaurant Manager at our Melbourne restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and customer service delivery.
  • Support senior management in strategic planning and decision making.
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and safety are consistently maintained.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences and resolve any customer complaints or feedback effectively.
  • Assist with financial tasks such as cash handling and reporting.
  • Lead and mentor the front-of-house team, providing coaching and development opportunities.
  • Implement and monitor policies and procedures to drive operational efficiency.
  • Liaise with the kitchen regarding menus, events, daily run-sheets, and service.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated work experience in a high volume setting as a Supervisor or Manager of a restaurant.
  • Excellent customer service skills and temperament.
  • Able to work with, mentor, and develop a large team.
  • Comfortable prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities as required.
  • Strong communication skills, charisma, and ability to remain composed under pressure.
  • Solid financial acumen and desire to exceed performance expectations.
  • Proven teamwork attitude to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Familiarity with food, beverages, and hospitality industry knowledge.
  • Experience managing events is an advantage but not essential.
