Engine Technician Role

We are seeking an experienced Engine Technician to join our team in Brisbane. As an Engine Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of engines, ensuring they are safe and efficient.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Machining of previously manufactured parts to restore features to acceptable limits.
  2. Application of protective coatings, including treatment of bare metal and painting.
  3. Assisting with engineering the creation of repair work scopes for specific parts.
  4. Manufacturing of tooling, jigs, and fixtures in accordance with detailed manufacturing drawings.
  5. Manufacture of small components in accordance with detail parts drawings.
  6. Ensuring tool control is maintained as per procedures.
  7. Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with all departments.
  8. Preparing components that require protective coatings by use of blasting machines, de-greasing, and masking.

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a Certificate IV in Aeroskills or an Australian recognised Aircraft Trade qualification, with at least 2 years of experience in an engine environment. You will also need to have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate flexibility when required.

About This Role

This is a full-time role based in our Brisbane workshop and, due to aviation regulations, this role is classed as a Safety Sensitive Aviation Activity and requires the holder to comply and qualify under our Drugs and Alcohol Policy.
