Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist clinical pharmacy services to the Cardiology Unit
  • Ensure safe and effective medication management
  • Actively engage in clinical governance, research, and education

Requirements:
  • Qualification: Pharmacy qualifications conferred by tertiary education institutions (e.g., Bachelor of Pharmacy)
  • Registration: Full and unrestricted Pharmacist Registration with AHPRA
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
  • Experience in clinical hospital pharmacy practice in cardiology or equivalent extensive clinical experience
  • Therapeutic knowledge and ability to exercise initiative in applying pharmaceutical principles to clinical practice
  • Organisational skills and ability to prioritise work and manage time effectively
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
