Senior Release Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Release Engineer to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring smooth, timely, and high-standard software deployments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed release plans, define scope and timelines, and coordinate across multiple teams.
  • Act as the release liaison between engineering, testing, operations, and business stakeholders to guarantee seamless integration and deployment.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to technical failures, security vulnerabilities, and potential business disruptions.
  • Keep internal and external stakeholders informed with regular updates on release status, potential issues, and changes.
  • Champion adherence to quality standards and ensure that releases comply with internal policies and established procedures.
  • Monitor the success of each release, collect feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Work with DevOps to leverage and enhance CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment workflows and reduce manual effort.
  • Own and update comprehensive release documentation, including deployment plans, runbooks, and retrospectives.
  • Build strong partnerships across departments and manage expectations proactively.
Success Metrics:
  • Improved release metrics: Reduced release-related incidents and shortened cycle times.
