Culinary Assistant Wanted

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced culinary assistant to join our busy takeaway team. As a culinary assistant, you will be responsible for food preparation, kitchen maintenance, and working efficiently on grills and oils.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare food and salads to the highest standard
  2. Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  3. Work efficiently on grills and oils
  4. Collaborate with the team to ensure excellent customer service

Working Hours:

We offer part-time and casual shifts, with a minimum of 34 hours per week. You will be expected to work varying shifts, including day and morning shifts.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of $21-$24 per hour
  • Free drinks and meals while on shift

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a takeaway or cafe environment (training can be provided for the right candidate)
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
  • English language proficiency (spoken and written)
  • Australian work authorization (preferred)
