A rewarding opportunity awaits a dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our team at Star HR, located in the lovely Granite Belt region of QLD. This exceptional non-profit organisation is seeking a passionate professional to work in an educational setting.

Salary: $120,000 base + super + PD + salary packaging + relocation assistance

About the Role:

We are looking for a Speech Pathologist with experience working with children and adolescents with disabilities, preferably within a school or educational setting. As a member of our Specialist Disability Support in Schools team, you will conduct assessments, create personalized therapy plans, and deliver direct therapy services.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting assessments to identify students' speech, language, communication skills, and educational needs.
  • Creating and executing tailored therapy plans to address students' specific objectives and challenges.
  • Delivering direct therapy services, both individually and in group settings.
  • Collaborating with teachers and school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.
  • Providing training and support to school staff and parents on strategies to support students' needs.
  • Monitoring students' progress and adjusting therapy interventions as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Speech Pathology (with SPA membership).
  • Experience working with children and adolescents with disabilities.
  • Current driver's license and car is a MUST, you will be travelling between Stanthorpe and Warwick visiting various schools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
