About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Human Resources Specialist to join our national team on an 18-month fixed-term maternity leave coverage assignment. This role may lead to ongoing opportunities for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the HR team in developing and executing attraction, retention, and development strategies.
  • Design and implement innovative HR policies and procedures to drive business growth.
  • Prepare reports, employment contracts, presentations, and correspondence to ensure seamless communication.
  • Develop and execute HR strategies and projects to enhance employee engagement and productivity.
  • Respond to HR and Employee Relations issues and problems in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate employee records on relevant databases to ensure compliance.
  • Support and execute employee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Manage and monitor the utilization of our HRIS system to optimize efficiency.
  • Deploy HR branding initiatives that align with recruitment, attraction, and retention strategies.
  • Support the delivery of soft skills and leadership training programs to enhance employee capabilities.
  • Assist in developing and implementing operational and strategic HR plans, policies, procedures, practices, and initiatives.
  • Provide backup support to HR Business Partners during periods of sustained absence or leave.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in a HR Advisor or equivalent role.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Experience delivering in-house soft skills and leadership training programs.
  • Genuine desire to develop HR skills and advance career.
  • Experience with end-to-end recruitment processes, including Visa management and international recruitment.
  • Self-aware and self-driven with strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Energetic, affiliative, and collaborative team player with outstanding integrity.
  • Achievement-focused with high-level customer service skills.
  • Passion for learning new things with high attention to detail and capacity to multitask.
