A full-time Consultant Paediatrician role is available at a modern hospital in a regional community, offering a competitive salary of $359,094 - $608,425 and relocation support.

This position involves providing expert paediatric care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated care across the region, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing neonate services and improving health outcomes for children and babies.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated care across the region.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and ensuring evidence-based care delivery.
  • Mentoring and training junior medical staff.
  • Providing outreach outpatient services to northern regional hospitals.

The ideal candidate will possess a Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent, registration with the Medical Board of Australia in General Paediatrics and Child Health, and demonstrated experience in paediatrics, particularly in rural or regional settings.
