Competition Law Specialist

We are seeking an exceptional Competition Lawyer to join our high-performing team in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in competition law and excellent analytical skills.

The role will involve advising major global and local clients on various aspects of competition and consumer law, including cartel litigation, marketing and advertising clearance, consumer law disputes, regulatory investigations, and prosecutions.

The successful candidate will have between 5 and 8 years' post-admission experience in Competition Law with an excellent academic record, first-rate drafting and analytical skills, and a passion for competition law.

Candidates with front and/or back-end competition law experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising clients on competition and consumer law matters
  • Handling contentious and non-contentious aspects of Australian and Asia Pacific competition law
  • Representing clients in regulatory investigations and prosecutions
  • Providing training and support to junior lawyers
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' post-admission experience in Competition Law
  • An excellent academic record, preferably a Juris Doctor or Bachelor of Laws degree
  • First-rate drafting and analytical skills
  • A passion for competition law
