Key Job Responsibilities

This role plays a vital part in service delivery within our hospital setting. Key tasks include responding to general customer enquiries and providing timely and accurate information and assistance.

Proficient completion of functions associated with the wait list of patients is also essential, including booking for procedures/appointments, managing cancellations, rescheduling and removals from the waiting list using relevant information systems.

  • Provide excellent customer services, communicating clearly and confidently with patients, members of the public and departmental staff over the phone, via email and in person.
  • Utilise information systems to record and update patient information, demographic information, Medicare details and referral details.
