Contaminated Lands Specialist Job Description">

We are seeking an experienced contaminated lands professional to join our Resilience & Natural Hazards team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining oversight of contaminated land management frameworks and registers for land under our care and control.

You will contribute specialist input to capital works and on-ground projects, ensuring contaminated land risks are identified, assessed, and managed throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally, you will provide expert technical advice on reactive contaminated lands issues, supporting strategic planning and operational activities.

  • You will bring strategic thinking and strong collaboration skills to a dynamic and supportive work environment.
  • You will have experience in contaminated lands management, with knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, and legislation.
  • You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop, implement, and maintain oversight of contaminated land management frameworks and registers for land under our care and control.
