Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative Officer to provide clerical and administrative support to our Director or Manager and staff.

This is a permanent full-time position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and organizational skills.

The successful applicant will be required to use departmental systems to perform most tasks electronically, providing timely and accurate responses to telephone calls, visitor enquiries, diary appointments, email and other communications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level clerical and administrative support to the Director or Manager and staff
  • Order goods and services for the team, arranging payments and making travel bookings in a timely and efficient manner
  • Respond to telephone calls, visitor enquiries, diary appointments, email and other communications in a professional and courteous manner
  • Prepare correspondence, Ministerial responses and reports, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail

Requirements include being an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or valid visa holder with relevant work rights, and consenting to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtaining a current Screening Clearance Number.
