The Role: Customer Service Agent

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Agent to join our team at JW Marriott. This role involves interacting with guests in person and via phone, managing room assignments, processing payments, and resolving any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:

  • Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing keys.
  • Handle all payment types, including cash, credit cards, and debit cards, while adhering to accounting procedures.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with Housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for occupancy.
  • Provide directions and information on property amenities and local attractions.
  • Prepare daily reports and reconcile transactions accurately.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in Hospitality or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in Front Office Operations is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Opera PMS are highly regarded.
