Job Title: Home Store Leadership Opportunity

Are you a seasoned retail professional with a passion for customer service? Do you thrive in a team environment and have a knack for coaching others to achieve their best?

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic retail team as an Assistant Store Manager. You will play a pivotal role in leading and guiding a team of passionate retail professionals, driving sales performance and customer service excellence, and embedding operational consistency across your region.

A key responsibility of this role is to partner with the Store Manager to drive sales performance and achieve targets through effective selling of merchandise. You will also work closely with customers to make their vision for their home a reality, providing styling solutions and recommendations, and upselling and cross-selling to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales performance and achieve targets through effective selling of merchandise
  • Work with customers to provide styling solutions and recommendations, and upsell and cross-sell to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Coach and guide the retail sales team to achieve targets and create a unique shopping experience that delivers exceptional customer service
  • Support with day-to-day store operations, including rostering, financial performance, administrative tasks, recruiting, and onboarding of new team members

Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who has 2-3+ years of experience in retail sales, with a proven track record of achieving targets. A strong commercial acumen and results-driven mindset is essential, as well as the ability to coach, guide, and motivate teams to deliver exceptional customer service. Resourcefulness, a can-do attitude, and problem-solving skills are also highly valued.
