Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced nurse to join our team as a Nurse Coordinator, providing managerial support to all departments within the hospital after hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the hospital staff in achieving service excellence
  • Act as a resource person for quality assurance and improvement
  • Assess staffing levels of individual areas and relocate staff as needed
Requirements:
  • Extensive clinical experience with a minimum 3 years experience in a leadership role or senior role within a patient flow specialty
  • Current and unconditional AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Midwifery
  • Tertiary qualifications in people management and/or leadership (desirable)
  • Excellent relationship management and customer service skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work within a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain relevant clinical expertise, skills and knowledge base to provide leadership within specialty areas
