  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage commercial portfolios and complex lending initiatives ranging up to $15 million in total addressable exposure.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with local industry groups, businesses, and community organizations to enhance the bank's profile in the region.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers through quality conversations to design and deliver holistic and needs-based solutions.
  • Build lasting relationships focused on acquiring new customers and driving business growth.
  • Identify and lead business development activities to optimize the bank's profile and growth prospects in the local market.
  • Cultivate partnership relationships with branch managers, coach and educate Branch teams and Business Support teams, and build trusted relationships with Credit Risk professionals.

This is a full-time role based in our Brisbane, Ipswich or Toowoomba Business Banking Centre, with hybrid working arrangements that prioritize flexibility and work-life balance.

Requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification in business, finance, or a related field.
  • The ability to undertake travel and hold a current driver's license.

We're seeking an individual with:

  • Demonstrated expertise in business lending and credit risk principles.
  • Financial analysis skills, including the ability to analyze and interpret financial statements.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of business banking market conditions, products, cash flows, and markets.
  • The ability to think creatively and develop innovative, customer-centric solutions.
