Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement organisational culture enhancement and retention initiatives to improve the overall work environment and employee satisfaction.
- Develop branch recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent in the field of emergency management.
- Identify and implement wellbeing and WHS strategies and practices in conjunction with NEMA's Wellbeing and Conditions team to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Identify and implement mental health support initiatives to promote employee well-being and resilience.
- Improve branch communications to ensure effective information sharing and collaboration among team members.
- Design development pathways for branch team members to enhance their skills and career progression.
- A positive mindset and a strong commitment to enhancing the culture and retention of NEMA's staff.
- Highly-developed oral and written communication skills, including the ability to liaise confidently with stakeholders.
- A demonstrated history of drive, vision, and change management, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- The ability to hold, or gain, an NV1 security clearance and satisfy AFP building access requirements.
