Business Development Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Consultant to join our Disability Employment Services team in Bathurst and Central West. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in improving the lives of individuals living with disabilities, their families, and carers in the local community.
Key Responsibilities- Identify key employers and develop employment opportunities to support the achievement of sustainable employment outcomes for our clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including employers, Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), community organisations, NDIS providers, and social enterprises.
- Actively market our services through Job Fairs and community events to promote disability awareness and inclusion.
- Provide education and training to employers and community organisations on disability awareness, inclusion, and supports available to assist them in working with people with a disability.
- Work collaboratively with our team to develop productive partnerships that drive business and enhance our profile within the employment region.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to negotiate, liaise, and consult with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated marketing and business development experience, with a strong focus on outcomes.
- Experience and knowledge of working with people with a disability.
- Ability to build rapport with a wide range of people and encourage and support them to achieve their desired outcomes.
- Excellent administrative and computer-based systems capability.
- Certificate III in Employment Services, Community Services, or Disability Services, or the willingness to obtain those qualifications.
