Highly Skilled IT Project Manager Wanted for Infrastructure Services

At Hudson Australia, we're seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead our Infrastructure Services Division's Vocational Education and Training (VET) Modernisation and Transformation (VMT) project. This exciting opportunity involves implementing a new solution that integrates with our existing technology, builds technical foundations, and reduces organisational risk.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the full project lifecycle for the TRS Project, ensuring seamless interoperability between systems and alignment with program objectives.
- Foster clear and effective communication channels between project team members, stakeholders, and senior management.
- Develop and maintain essential artefacts, including project plans, schedules, status reports, and project Risk, Issue, Action, Decision, and Dependency logs.
- C coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitor and report on project progress, quality assurance activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
- Proactively identify, assess, and address project risks and challenges, implementing mitigation strategies to minimise the impact of potential risks.
- Provide strategic thinking, innovation, and negotiating to support the delivery of high-quality solution outcomes.
- Promote and apply appropriate project management techniques, methodologies, and tools, including benefits realisation and risk and issue management.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of managing and delivering business-critical IT solutions within high-volume, high-pressure environments.
- Hold project management certification, such as PRINCE2 or PMP, with a minimum of 7 years' industry experience as a Senior Project Manager.
- possess knowledge of project management frameworks, with the ability to promote and provide guidance on the use of relevant techniques, methodologies, and tools.
- Have a strong understanding of IT systems, technologies, and methodologies relevant to the project.
