We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Residential Youth Worker. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with top youth service providers, delivering high-quality care and support to young people in need.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing a safe and nurturing environment for at-risk young people.
  • Providing guidance and support with personal care, including meals and hygiene routines.
  • Transporting children to school, appointments, and community activities.
  • Fostering skill development and socialization within the community.
  • Supporting medication administration and reporting for children on Child Protection orders.
  • Providing trauma-informed care for young people with complex behavioral and traumatic backgrounds.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention, Youth Work, Social Work, or similar qualification.
  • An Australian Driver's License (P2 or higher).
  • A Blue card and Yellow card.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
  • At least 3 months paid experience in related fields such as disability support or youth work.
  • The ability to work a mixture of day, night, and weekend shifts as required.
