About the Opportunity
We are seeking a professional and enthusiastic customer service officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and acting as the first point of contact for all swim centre related enquiries and bookings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide top-notch customer service to members of the public
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently
- Collaborate effectively with the team to achieve goals and objectives
- Stay up-to-date with council services and policies
- Utilize leisure management software to manage bookings and reports
Requirements:
- A current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- A current First Aid Certificate
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Experience handling customer inquiries and complaints
- Proficiency in using leisure management software
- Experience in database management and report writing

Selection Criteria:
- The right to live and work in Australia
- Able to provide information for pre-employment checks required for the position, including attending a physical pre-employment medical examination
- Participation in health monitoring as outlined in the risk assessment for this position and Council's Health Monitoring Procedure
- Provision of evidence of vaccination status as part of the employment screening process, in accordance with Council's COVID-19 Vaccination Procedure
