Job Opportunity for Clinical Nurse EducatorAbout the Role

The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of nursing within our dynamic Inpatient Unit. As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will collaborate closely with Nursing and Midwifery Unit Managers to drive excellence in clinical education, training, and support.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver targeted development programs that empower staff and elevate patient care through expert knowledge sharing, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to design and implement high-quality clinical education initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Create tailored educational programs focusing on areas such as medical, surgical, palliative, chronic, and complex conditions to enhance nursing staff skills and patient outcomes.
  • Conduct regular training sessions, workshops, and presentations to ensure nurses receive ongoing support and upskilling opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Midwife with relevant professional bodies.
  • Relevant post-registration qualification in clinical/education or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify learning needs, plan, develop, deliver, and evaluate education effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work consultatively and collaboratively.
  • Previous experience in clinical teaching, mentoring, and preceptorship is highly desirable.
