The role:

We're seeking a Data Governance Manager to join our Marketing team. This newly created role will report directly to our General Manager of Marketing. The successful candidate will manage business information, ensuring its quality, security, and maintenance align with data governance principles and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conducting regular data audits and monitoring data integrity.
  • Collaborating with the Data and Analytics team to design reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Leading data initiatives and analysis, fostering collaboration across teams.
  • Enhancing data quality by working with subject matter experts and process owners.
  • Providing data literacy training and support to diverse audiences.
  • Safeguarding sensitive data and implementing measures to mitigate data security risks.
  • Maintaining data privacy standards and ensuring compliance with relevant legal regulations.
  • Developing and implementing data strategies aligned with organisational goals and objectives.

About you:

The ideal candidate has a demonstrable track record in managing data, with experience in understanding data analysis and reporting, managing data lifecycle processes, process improvement, and data management practices. Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential. Previous involvement in project teams is also desirable.
