Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Albany, WA. As a member of our high-performing team, you will be working hands-on with leading brands, including Kenworth and DAF Trucks. You will be responsible for carrying out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs to both manufacturer and industry standards.

Your day-to-day tasks will involve troubleshooting, maintenance, service, repairs, and rebuilds of heavy vehicles, as well as performing electrical diagnostics and repairs. You will also play a key role in mentoring apprentices and sharing your knowledge with the team.

We are committed to safety and quality workmanship, and your commitment to these values will be vital to your success in the role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Australian recognised Heavy Diesel Motor Mechanic trade certificate
  • Previous experience in Transport (HV) and/or Earthmoving equipment
  • Experience performing maintenance, service, repairs, and rebuilds of heavy vehicles and carrying out electrical diagnostics and repairs
  • A proactive attitude toward safety
  • Excellent computer-based service diagnostics and a good understanding and knowledge of parts
  • Able to be on an on-call roster as required
  • A great attitude and top-notch communication skills
