About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Specialist to join our team at Carma. As a Data Insights Specialist, you will play a key role in driving business decisions through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis: Gather, analyze, and interpret internal and external data to create actionable insights and reports.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our engineering team to tap into the Carma Data Platform in Snowflake, and contribute toward building consolidated, curated, reusable, and fit-for-purpose data assets for the business.
  • Dashboard Development: Develop and maintain dashboards that track key performance indicators (KPIs) and keep our business on course.
  • Deep-Dive Analysis: Conduct in-depth analyses to uncover trends, spot opportunities, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Insight Communication: Turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that everyone can understand, collaborating across teams to drive impact.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar analytical role (experience in the automotive or ecommerce industry is a plus).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn complex data sets into actionable insights.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools like Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms, as well as experience with SQL and database management.
  • Problem-Solving: Detail-oriented with a sharp problem-solving mindset, able to leave no stone unturned.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across the business, juggle multiple projects, and communicate effectively with different stakeholders.
  • Education: An undergraduate degree in data, statistics, mathematics, business, or a related field.
