About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Specialist to join our Digital Analytics & Insights team within Analytics, Data & Decision Science (ADDS). As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in turning data into actionable insights, driving business decisions, and delivering world-class data, analytics, and technology capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the Business Bank and provide analytics guidance to improve the business customer experience across Digital.
  • Use data wrangling methods to deliver insights and make recommendations, including analysis on customer journey, segmentation, profiling, and more.
  • Create data visualisations, dashboards, and reports that provide a unified view across the Digital ecosystem to drive actionable insights for better business outcomes.
  • Draw on existing data sources, such as the Group Data Warehouse and Omnia-based big data solutions, to create visibility of the customer journey.
  • Pull together disparate pieces of information and compile them into a meaningful story that drives change and informs decision makers.
  • Communicate effectively and persuasively to project teams and leaders.
Requirements
  • Possess a passion for data and a natural curiosity about how data can be used to identify new opportunities and make impactful business decisions.
  • Have strong analytics skills, including proficiency in languages such as SQL, Tableau, R, and Python.
  • Be a confident and capable communicator, able to present work to a wider audience and explain complex analytical requirements and findings in common non-technical terms.
  • Have a strong attention to detail and knowledge of visualisation best practices for complex data relationships.
  • Relevant experience/knowledge around working with digital data is favourable.
