About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled PR Data Insights Specialist to join our team at Montu. As a key member of our PR team, you will play a critical role in translating data insights into compelling PR opportunities for our company and its portfolio of brands.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Data Analysis and Story Identification
    • Analyzing data from various internal sources, including patient and demographic data, brand positioning and sentiment tracking, market research, and performance metrics, to uncover PR opportunities and trends
    • Collaborating with the Data team and others as required to interpret data findings and translate information and statistics into actionable PR insights
    • Identifying and distilling compelling PR stories and narratives from complex data sets and reports
  • Media Monitoring and Reporting
    • Utilizing media reporting and analytics platforms to monitor media coverage, track industry trends, and measure the impact of PR initiatives on behalf of the wider PR team
    • Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports that provide insights into media performance and PR effectiveness
    • Proactively using media monitoring and reporting platforms to identify trends for reporting to highlight organizational opportunities and risks
    • Preparing regular reports and presentations for senior management on PR performance, media coverage, and the impact of data-driven stories
    • Evaluating the effectiveness of PR campaigns based on data analysis and providing recommendations for optimization
  • Strategy, Content, and Planning
    • Developing strategies to leverage data-driven insights for creating impactful PR campaigns and media pitches
    • Working closely with the PR team to integrate data insights into broader communication strategies and plans
    • Collaborating with content creators to craft press releases, articles, and other media materials that effectively communicate data-driven stories
    • Ensuring that data insights are presented in a clear, engaging, and accurate manner suitable for external media dissemination
    Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Prior experience in a data-driven PR role in media, marketing, or communications
  • Current working knowledge of media relations and PR best practices
  • Proven experience working with media reporting platforms and analytical tools
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to identify and extract meaningful PR insights from complex data
  • Demonstrable experience working within amorphous or complex organizations
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and priorities
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with experience managing multiple priorities, stakeholders, topics, and projects
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with digital and social media platforms
  • Experience working within a regulated industry is desirable
