The Construction & Infrastructure team is widely respected for its work across front-end infrastructure, energy, and major projects, advising private sector clients on significant developments across Australia and the broader Asia-Pacific region. With a focus on practical, commercially astute advice and the ability to flex across complex project structures, the team is well-positioned for strategic growth.

The Melbourne team is now seeking a Senior Associate to play a key role in the continued expansion of this high-performing and well-connected practice.

The Opportunity

You'll play a key role advising on high-value infrastructure and energy projects, working across a broad range of front-end matters including:

• EPC, O&M/FM, TSI, BOP, D&C, and PPP contracts
• Supply and services agreements, joint ventures, connection agreements, and other critical project documentation
• Early-phase project structuring and strategic advice

You will work closely with top-tier trained partners and collaborate with lawyers across Australia and internationally. This role is well suited to someone who thrives in a client-facing position and is eager to contribute to business development, build their market presence, and play a strategic role in the long-term success of the practice.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

• 5+ years' experience across major construction, infrastructure or energy projects
• Deep familiarity with contract suites such as D&C, EPC, and PPP — experience advising on PPPs will be highly regarded
• A proactive and commercial mindset, with confidence in running complex matters and advising clients directly
• A team-oriented approach, with a desire to mentor junior lawyers and contribute to a high-performing culture
• An interest in leveraging a global network to drive practice growth, with support to build your own client relationships

Strong drafting and negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment will round out your strengths.
