Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Cyber Assurance Specialist, where you will play a vital role in helping governments and their agencies build more resilient, secure, equitable, and prosperous communities.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional who can leverage their advisory and consulting skills set to deliver high-quality outcomes to our clients through a combination of hands-on delivery and coaching to more junior members of the team.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of common cyber security frameworks used by Australian government organisations and be able to work autonomously to deliver tasks on a project under time pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a team of consultants on a broad range of engagements in the areas of Risk Management, Strategy, Governance & Culture, and Cyber Transformation.
- Leverage your advisory and consulting skills set to deliver high-quality outcomes to our clients.
- Take ownership and accountability to deliver a range of outcomes on client engagements.
- Support the development of new capabilities, products, and services based on market demand.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 2+ years of industry experience working with organisations implementing cyber security controls.
- A working understanding of common cyber security frameworks used by Australian government organisations (e.g., ISM/PSPF, ISO27k, NIST CSF, VPDSF, SACSF, etc.).
- A proven ability to work autonomously and deliver tasks on a project under time pressure.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Qualifications and certifications in recognised and relevant industry accreditations such as AWS and/or Microsoft Cloud certifications, SANS GIAC Information Security Professional (GISP), CISA, ISO27001 training, Chartered Security Architect - Foundation Certificate (SCF), FAIR Analysis Fundamentals, or CompTIA.
