Cyber Security Risk Assurance Specialist

Job Opportunity:
We seek an accomplished Cyber Security Risk Assurance Specialist to spearhead risk assurance initiatives across complex projects, providing expert assessments and actionable insights.
About the Role:
- Lead in-depth security risk assessments for major Telstra undertakings
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate technical security vulnerabilities
- Translate intricate security threats into clear, actionable business intelligence
- Manage stakeholder expectations and support informed decision-making processes
- Contribute to team process enhancements and engagement strategies
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in cybersecurity (architecture, testing, assurance)
- Practical expertise in conducting comprehensive technical risk assessments
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO, PCI, NIST, and E8
- A collaborative mindset and ability to convey complex security concepts in simple terms
- Experience working in large-scale, complex environments
