Cloud Edge Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Edge Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing and implementing an Internal Development Platform to streamline cloud-native development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement an Internal Development Platform to simplify cloud-native development processes.
  • Develop reusable services, patterns, and libraries to reduce DevOps effort and operational overhead.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver strategic objectives.
  • Create APIs, user guides, and tooling to support squad interactions and service consumption.
  • Drive technical delivery across development and research initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in Cloud, OT/Edge, and research computing environments.
  • Strong skills in Kubernetes, AWS, Python, TypeScript, and Terraform.
  • Expertise in DevOps automation, API development, and high-performance computing.
  • Familiarity with observability platforms, application security, and scientific computing is beneficial.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud and edge technologies, with experience working on complex systems and a passion for innovation and collaboration. They will be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
