About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join Verto's Employment Services team as a Disability Employment Consultant. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disability, injury, or health conditions to gain or maintain sustainable employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a tailored service to clients that recognises their individual needs and circumstances
  • Market clients to employers and succeed in a target-driven environment
  • Provide great customer service and develop strong ongoing relationships with local employers
  • Build strong networks with community organisations to add value for participants
  • Accurately complete electronic and paper-based administration
  • Gain a strong understanding of the local labour market and employer needs
  • Use strength-based, tailored caseload management skills to support and motivate participants
  • Assist participants to prepare for work by creating resumes, assisting with applications, and mock interviews
  • Meet and exceed placement and outcome targets while maintaining high compliance

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Certificate III in Employment Services, Community Services, or Disability Services qualification
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong administration and computer skills
  • Demonstrated experience as an enthusiastic team player
  • Well-developed organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands
  • Ability to succeed in a target-driven environment
  • A current Driver's Licence and the ability to travel within the local region
