Disability Employment Consultant

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join Verto's Employment Services team as a Disability Employment Consultant. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disability, injury, or health conditions to gain or maintain sustainable employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a tailored service to clients that recognises their individual needs and circumstances
- Market clients to employers and succeed in a target-driven environment
- Provide great customer service and develop strong ongoing relationships with local employers
- Build strong networks with community organisations to add value for participants
- Accurately complete electronic and paper-based administration
- Gain a strong understanding of the local labour market and employer needs
- Use strength-based, tailored caseload management skills to support and motivate participants
- Assist participants to prepare for work by creating resumes, assisting with applications, and mock interviews
- Meet and exceed placement and outcome targets while maintaining high compliance
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Certificate III in Employment Services, Community Services, or Disability Services qualification
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong administration and computer skills
- Demonstrated experience as an enthusiastic team player
- Well-developed organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands
- Ability to succeed in a target-driven environment
- A current Driver's Licence and the ability to travel within the local region
