About the Role

This senior marketing position plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing marketing strategies across a portfolio of supplier brands and products, including proprietary brands. As the face of marketing within the category, you will leverage your expertise to drive commercial outcomes for Nutrien Ag Solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with procurement leads, category managers, and the marketing team to develop and execute marketing plans that align with business objectives.
  • Analyze customer data to identify target segments and develop targeted marketing initiatives to drive product penetration, sales growth, and lead generation.
  • Prioritize marketing activities based on expected return on investment (ROI) to maximize commercial outcomes.
  • Leverage knowledge of customer purchasing behavior to develop and implement marketing media plans, collateral, copy, content, templates, and tools in support of marketing campaigns.
  • Work closely with the marketing team and agency partners to design and execute marketing campaigns that meet business objectives.
  • Monitor campaign progress to ensure commercial objectives are being met and adjust strategies as needed.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated success in a similar marketing manager role with experience in B2B marketing.
  • Strong understanding of agriculture and experience in the fertilizer or agchem category is highly valued.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills with a proven track record of managing senior stakeholders.
  • Able to turn data into insight and action that drives commercial outcomes.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a matrix team.
  • Marketing campaign management experience and an understanding of digital marketing.
  • Previous retail marketing experience is valued, particularly across a range of SKUs and categories.
