Senior Support Worker

To be considered for this role you will need a minimum of 3 days work availability and preferably more.

Responsibilities
  • Providing personal care including assisting with hygiene, showering, dressing, toileting, meals service, mobility, social support and tailored activities
  • Administering basic medications
  • Facilitating individual activities with residents based on their interests, hobbies and preferences as part of daily life
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure effective household running, focusing on resident needs and preferences
Requirements
  • A passion for delivering high quality care to the elderly
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with residents and their families
  • Commitment to respecting values, customs, preferences and spiritual beliefs of residents
  • Certificate III or Cert IV in aged care or similar
  • Medication qualifications (training provided)
