Job Summary

This part-time role at SA Health involves working as a Social Worker in the Mental Health Services team at Flinders Medical Centre. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical services to patients, including mental health assessments, risk assessments, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions.

About the Role

The successful applicant will report to the Nurse Unit Manager and Principal Social Worker. Your key responsibilities will include undertaking health promotion activities, providing community liaison and education, working with government and non-government agencies, and advocating for consumers.

Key Requirements
  • An appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers
  • Proven experience in delivering high-quality care consistent with the National Safety and Quality Health Care Service Standards
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
