About the Role

The Asset Management Team at Sunwater is responsible for overseeing the company's strategic and tactical asset management functions. As the Senior Civil Planning Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and implementing innovative and effective asset management strategies that prioritize whole-of-life, customer-focused, and sustainable operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and technical officers to implement and comply with Sunwater's asset management policies, strategies, plans, systems, and processes.
  2. Conduct and document Civil component inspections and conditions and risk assessments in accordance with State Government regulations and guidelines.
  3. Develop full lifecycle asset management plans for Civil assets to maximize return on investment through the balance of risk, cost, performance, and social and environmental sustainability.

This role requires regular travel to complete site inspections. Sunwater seeks an experienced individual with a proven track record in strategic asset plan development, whole-of-life analysis, and asset portfolio review. You will hold tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering and be RPEQ registered (or have the ability to obtain within 12 months).

Key Requirements:

  1. Problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex Civil issues and provide fit-for-purpose solutions.
  2. Class 'C' driver's license for manual vehicle.
  3. Working at Heights and Confined Spaces qualifications, or willingness to obtain.
