The Portfolio Manager plays a key role in the Account Leadership Team, overseeing the delivery of multiple project outcomes aligned with customer priorities.

The primary focus is to be a single point of contact for all aspects related to the governance of Programs and Projects within customer accounts. This involves managing the execution of Programs and Projects focused on delivering value to customers or specific capability areas. Key responsibilities include governing the pipeline, effective resource utilization, ensuring proper change control, overall financial management, and risk/issue management across the portfolio.

  • Coordinate multiple streams or projects to provide a unified view of the portfolio, including high-level status (RAG), financials, and dependencies
  • Maintain the Portfolio RAID Log, tracking Risks, Actions, Issues, and Decisions, and ensure regular status reporting to customers and escalation to Datacom executives as required
  • Ensure the overall financial health of the portfolio within a Customer or Service Capability
  • Determine prioritization criteria used to accept Program and Project proposals into the Portfolio
  • Facilitate the prioritization of Program and Projects in the Portfolio, aligned with customer roadmaps, contracts, and organizational objectives
  • Manage Risk governance within the portfolio
  • Contribute to the development of project scope and effort estimates, considering dependencies across the portfolio
  • E nsure project delivery aligns with Datacom's Project Lifecycle (DPL)
  • Provide leadership for the Portfolio team, focusing on scope, quality, and schedule of Projects and Programs
